| Below are a number paintings by Firefall lead guitarist, Jock Bartley. From early childhood, he had a passion for creating art and entered college as an art major before shifting his creative focus toward musical pursuits full time. Encouraged by friends, family and business associates, in 2000 Jock began to get serious about having a new ‘art career.’ Because his artwork and subject matter is so varied, he groups his works into ‘series’ - ‘Dunes’ series, ‘Beach’ series, ‘Children’s Animal’ series, ‘Rock & Roll’ series, ‘Women’ series, etc. Jock’s artwork has begun receiving widespread attention and critical acclaim. Jock Bartley's 'photographic manipulation' piece, "THREE GUITARS ON BLUE", has been included in the 'ROCK ART SHOW,' currently touring around the USA. This prestigious art exhibit features some of the world's most famous Musician/Artists, including Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Ron Wood (Rolling Stones), Grace Slick, Jerry Garcia, John Entwhistle (The Who), David Bowie, Santana and many many others; this traveling show also includes ‘rock photography,’ album cover art, signed lyrics and animation cells from the Beatles’ ‘Yellow Submarine.’ Visiting around 30 cities a year, the 'ROCK ART SHOW' exhibits and sells these amazing works for a weekend (or longer), and donates part of their proceeds to local charities in need.
